I’m interrupting the usual blog scheduling for a quick update. I am now a registered provider for NBSL’s North East Business Support Fund to help businesses to improve their competitiveness.
The NEBSF provides project grants and masterclasses to businesses based in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, or County Durham with plans to grow turnover and/or employ more staff, which could be you.
Depending on the region you are based in, you could access up to £3,200 for business improvement costs and use this for almost any type of support that will help your business to grow, from marketing to financial and human resources planning.
This includes digital marketing services with specialists like myself, whether it’s SEO, PPC, or web design and development that you need some help with. It’s been a difficult year for most businesses to say the least and the NEBSF has been helping thousands of businesses since 2012 so now could be the best time to see what support is available.
There is criteria, mainly that your business must be trading and classed as an SME employing fewer than 250 people and a turnover of less than €50M, but if this applies to your business you can find out more and follow a simple process:
Step 1 – You’ll fill out a simple online application.
Step 2 – When they have confirmed your eligibility, you’ll need to supply a written quote from your chosen provider within two weeks.
Step 3 – One of their advisors will visit and you’ll receive a Funding Contract so the project can start.
Step 4 – Your chosen Service Provider will complete your project.
Step 5 – You’ll pay your Service Provider.
Step 6 – You’ll claim your funding from us and review the project.
It’s important to note that the North East Business Support Fund can’t support projects that have already started or been completed, so make sure you have received your signed contract pack before going ahead.
